Getting Started

Build the habits that keep your paint organised and your projects ready.

Discover how Armed-One helps artists stay organised so they can focus on painting.

Armed-One is a practical system for street artists, muralists and spray paint users who want more control over their paint, projects and workflow. Instead of relying on memory, photos or scattered notes, you build a clear record of what you own, what you use and what each project needs. The result is less guessing, fewer duplicate purchases and less last-minute stress before a wall. Armed-One keeps you organised so more of your time is spent creating, not managing.

Learn the quickest way to start building your paint inventory.

Your inventory is the foundation of Armed-One. Every spray can, spray cap and wall paint item you add becomes part of your personal inventory, helping you see exactly what you have before buying, packing or painting. You can add items by scanning a supported barcode or entering them manually. There's no need to log everything at once. Start with the paint you use most often and build your inventory over time. A complete, up-to-date inventory makes every future project easier to plan.

Organise your first wall before the first can is shaken.

Projects are where your ideas become organised plans. Whether you're painting a mural, graffiti piece or personal wall, each project brings together your paint, reference photos and progress in one place. Assigning inventory to a project helps you prepare before you paint and keeps a useful record of the colours you used afterwards. Create a project as soon as you start planning, not after you've finished. The better organised your projects are, the easier it becomes to repeat successful colour combinations and prepare for future work.

Understand when barcode scanning or manual entry works best.

Armed-One supports both barcode scanning and manual entry, so you can build your inventory your way. If a supported barcode is recognised, product details are added automatically, saving you time. If a product isn't yet available in the database, simply add it manually and continue building your inventory. Both methods create the same inventory item, so you never have to wait to stay organised. As more brands join the Armed-One database, barcode support will continue to grow.

See how inventory, projects and collaboration work together.

Armed-One is built around the way artists naturally prepare for a project. First, organise your inventory so you know exactly what you have. Next, create a project and assign the paint you'll need. As the project progresses, update your inventory to reflect what you've used and keep a visual record for future reference. If you're working with others, collaboration keeps everyone aligned. By connecting each step, Armed-One helps you spend less time managing paint and more time creating your next wall.

Simple routines that save time, reduce waste and keep you ready for every project.

Staying organised doesn't require more work, just better habits. Check your inventory before buying paint, update fill levels after each session and assign colours to your projects as you go. These small routines take only a moment but help prevent duplicate purchases, reduce waste and make planning your next wall much easier. The more consistently you maintain your inventory, the more valuable it becomes every time you paint.

Spray Paint

Everything you need to organise, track and manage your spray paint inventory.

Build an inventory you can rely on before every wall.

Your spray paint inventory is the foundation of every project. Tracking your cans helps you see exactly what colours you have, how many are left and where they're stored. Whether you're planning a mural, painting for fun or preparing for a commission, a well-maintained inventory removes the guesswork. Instead of searching through boxes or buying colours you already own, you'll know what's ready to use before you leave for the wall.

Keep an accurate record of how much paint is left.

Fill levels show how much paint is left across your cans of the same colour. If you have multiple cans at different levels, Armed-One groups them into one visual overview so you can quickly understand your real stock. For example, one colour may include full cans, half cans and quarter cans at the same time. The main fill icon represents the combined average, while the detail view shows how many cans sit at each level. Updating fill levels after each session keeps your inventory reliable and helps you plan future projects with more confidence.

Search, filter and organise your inventory with ease.

As your collection grows, finding the right paint becomes just as important as adding it. Armed-One helps you quickly locate spray paint by colour name, brand's color code or brand, so you always know what you have before buying, packing or painting. You can also use filters to organise your inventory and focus on exactly what you need. Spending less time searching means more time preparing for your next wall.

Know what you already own before buying more paint.

It's easy to forget what's sitting on your shelf, especially when your collection grows or you use multiple brands. Checking your inventory before visiting a paint shop or placing an online order helps you buy only what you need. You'll spend less on duplicate colours, fill the gaps in your collection and always know what's ready for your next project. A quick inventory check before every purchase is one of the simplest habits that saves both time and money.

Learn when to keep empty cans and when to remove them.

An empty spray can can still have value. Keeping it in your inventory creates a record of the colours used on previous projects, making it easier to recreate palettes, match colours or reference past work. If you no longer need that history, you can remove the can at any time. Whether you keep or delete empty cans is entirely up to your workflow. Armed-One gives you the flexibility to organise your inventory in the way that works best for you.

Understand how barcode scanning works and how new brands are added.

Barcode scanning works with products that have been integrated into the Armed-One database. When a supported barcode is recognised, product details are added automatically and the official brand logo is displayed. If a product hasn't yet been integrated, you can still add it manually. These products use a default placeholder logo until they become part of the database. New brands and products are added regularly, so barcode support continues to grow over time. Currently integrated brands: Dope, Kobra, Loop, Molotow, Montana Cans, MTN and Rabeko. Don't see your favourite brand yet? You can still add it manually while we continue expanding the database.

Projects

Plan, organise and document every project from the first idea to the finished wall.

Bring your ideas, paint and progress together in one place.

A project keeps everything related to a wall organised from start to finish. Whether you're planning a mural, graffiti piece or personal artwork, you can bring together reference photos, assigned paint and project details in one place. Creating a project before you start painting helps you prepare with confidence and leaves you with a valuable record to revisit later. As your portfolio grows, projects become more than a plan - they become a visual history of your work.

Connect your inventory to the work you're creating.

Assigning spray paint to a project helps you plan before the first can is shaken. It gives you a clear overview of the colours you've selected, making it easier to prepare, pack and stay organised throughout the project. As you paint, your project becomes a useful record of the colours you used, helping you recreate palettes, match previous work or plan future walls with greater confidence.

Keep inspiration, progress and finished work together.

Reference photos help tell the story of your project from beginning to end. Add concept artwork, mockups, inspiration, work-in-progress images or photos of the finished wall to keep everything organised in one place. Looking back at previous projects makes it easier to remember colour choices, techniques and creative decisions. Over time, your projects become more than a collection of paint - they become a visual archive of your work and creative progress.

Track how your project develops from start to finish.

Every project evolves over time, and keeping it up to date helps you stay organised at every stage. As your plans change, you can update assigned paint, add new reference photos and keep your project information current. Tracking progress creates a clear record of how the project developed, making it easier to review your work, learn from previous decisions and prepare for future projects with confidence.

Keep everyone working from the same plan.

Collaboration is designed to help artists work together more smoothly on shared projects. Whether you're painting with an assistant, part of a crew or coordinating a larger production, the goal is to keep project information clear and organised in one place. This feature is currently in development and will be introduced in a future update. As Armed-One evolves, collaboration will grow to support the way artists naturally work together without adding unnecessary complexity.

Build a visual record you can revisit anytime.

Completing a project doesn't mean it's finished forever. Every completed project becomes a valuable reference for future work, helping you remember the colours you used, review reference photos and revisit creative ideas. Whether you're recreating a colour palette, preparing for a similar commission or simply looking back at your progress, your completed projects become a growing archive of your creative journey. The more you document today, the more useful your project history becomes tomorrow.

Spray Caps & Wall Paint

Everything you need to organise your spray caps and wall paint inventory.

Keep your spray caps organised and ready for every project.

Spray caps are just as important as paint when it comes to achieving the finish you want. Armed-One helps you keep track of every cap in your collection, so you always know what's available before starting a project. Whether you prefer skinny, soft or fat caps, an organised inventory makes it easier to find the right tool, avoid unnecessary purchases and keep your setup ready whenever inspiration strikes.

Track new and used spray caps separately.

Spray caps are tracked by how many you own and how many are ready for use. Clean (New) caps are unused caps kept fresh for reliable spray control. Working (Used) caps are caps that have already been used but are still part of your active setup. Your Total Owned number should reflect both groups together. For example, if you have 40 clean caps and 10 working caps, your total is 50. Keeping these numbers accurate helps you know when to restock, when to clean used caps and when you have enough reliable caps for the next project.

Build a collection that's easy to manage and replenish.

A well-organised cap collection saves time before every project. Grouping similar caps together and keeping your inventory up to date makes it easier to see what you have and what needs replacing. Whether you keep a small selection or hundreds of caps, a clear overview helps you stay prepared and ensures the right cap is always within reach.

Manage your wall paint alongside your spray paint inventory.

Wall paint can be tracked even when the product is not yet part of the Armed-One database. You can scan a tub's barcode to begin adding it, and if the product is integrated, its details are filled automatically. At the moment, Dope The Wall is the main integrated wall paint range because it connects directly to a spray paint brand catalogue. For other wall paint brands, use the scan flow or manual entry to add the product yourself, then record its volume, fill level and quantity. This keeps your wall paint organised even when barcode data is not available.

Track the size of each paint tub and how much paint remains.

Wall paint comes in many container sizes, so Armed-One lets you record the tub volume in a way that matches your real stock. You can choose common volumes such as 1 L, 5 L, 10 L or 25 L, or enter a custom litre amount if your paint uses a different size. You can also update the fill level as the tub is used. Tracking both volume and fill level gives you a clearer picture of how much paint you actually have left, helping you plan larger walls, avoid overbuying and reduce last-minute shortages.

Remember where your wall paint is stored and add useful notes.

Wall paint is often stored in different places, especially when you work between home, studio, van or project sites. Armed-One lets you record where a tub is stored, so you can find the right paint faster when preparing for a wall. You can also add notes for useful details such as colour mixes, finish type, supplier, surface use or project reminders. Keeping storage and notes together makes your wall paint inventory more practical, especially when you return to the same colour weeks or months later.

Plans & Subscription

Understand Free, Pro and how Armed-One grows with your workflow.

Start organising your paint without paying.

The Free plan is designed to be useful, not temporary. You can start tracking your spray paint, spray caps and wall paint, create projects and build better organisation habits from day one. Free gives you enough structure to take your paint workflow seriously while keeping Armed-One accessible to artists at every stage. As your inventory or project needs grow, you can upgrade when it genuinely helps your workflow, not because the basics are locked away.

Understand what counts towards your Free plan limit.

The Free plan includes up to 50 unique spray paint entries, 5 wall paints and 3 projects. A unique spray paint entry means one specific product or barcode, not the total number of cans you own. For example, 12 cans of the same colour still count as one entry. Spray caps are unlimited on Free. Pro removes the spray paint, wall paint and project limits, giving you unlimited inventory and unlimited projects.

Unlock more room when your workflow grows.

Pro is built for artists whose workflow has outgrown the Free plan. It unlocks unlimited spray paint entries and unlimited projects, giving you more space to manage larger inventories, multiple walls and serious preparation. Pro also gives you access to custom storage locations for spray paint and wall paint, so you can record where your stock is kept across home, studio, van or storage. It is not about adding complexity. It is about removing limits when your paint, projects and planning need more room to grow.

Upgrade when limits start interrupting your workflow.

Upgrading is not about status. It is about removing friction when your workflow grows. If you are managing more spray paint, planning more than three projects or need to record where your stock is stored, Pro gives you more room to stay organised. The best time to upgrade is when Armed-One is already helping you work better and the Free plan starts to feel too small for your real workflow. Pro keeps the same system, but gives you more space, clarity and control.

Understand where to manage, pause or cancel your plan.

Your Armed-One subscription is managed through the platform where you started it, such as the App Store or Google Play. This is where you can review your plan, update payment details, pause if the option is available, or cancel future billing. Pausing or cancelling does not delete your Armed-One account. It only changes access to Pro features once the subscription period ends or the pause takes effect. Your inventory and project data should remain connected to your account, so you can return to your workflow when you're ready.

Understand how Pro users help shape what comes next.

Pro users are often the artists using Armed-One more seriously, with larger inventories, more projects and clearer workflow needs. Their feedback helps us understand which improvements matter most in real use, not just in theory. Priority improvements does not mean every request will be built, but it means Pro users have a stronger voice in shaping the direction of Armed-One. The goal is to keep improving the app around real artist workflows while staying focused, practical and useful.

Account & Support

Manage your account, understand your data and get help when you need it.

Keep your profile and account details up to date.

Your account helps connect your Armed-One profile, subscription status and app settings. From your profile, you can review your account details, manage basic information and access important settings related to your app experience. Your inventory and project data are currently stored on the device you use, so treat that device as your main Armed-One workspace. Keeping your account details up to date helps make sure your profile and subscription access remain clear while you continue building your paint workflow.

Solve common issues before contacting support.

If something does not look right, start with the basics. Check that you are using the latest version of Armed-One, close and reopen the app, and make sure the item or project was saved correctly. Some issues may be linked to barcode availability, missing product data or features that are still being improved. If the problem continues, contact support with a short description of what happened, the screen you were using and any screenshots that help explain the issue. Clear details help us understand the problem faster and improve Armed-One for everyone.

Understand why some products show default logos or missing details.

Product data depends on what has been integrated into the Armed-One database. When a recognised product is added through barcode scanning, its brand logo and product details may appear automatically. If a product is added manually, or if the barcode is not yet part of the database, Armed-One may show a default placeholder logo instead. This does not mean the item is wrong or unusable. Brand logos and product data are used for identification only and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship or official partnership. You can still track the item and use it in your inventory as normal.

Understand where to manage, pause or cancel your plan.

Your data should support your workflow, not create uncertainty. Armed-One uses your account information to manage your profile, access and subscription status. Your inventory and project data are currently stored on the device you use, so that device should be treated as your main Armed-One workspace. Brand and product data may be used to improve the database and app experience, but your personal inventory is part of your own workflow. For full details, always review the latest Armed-One privacy policy inside the app or on the official website.

Know when and how to get help from Armed-One.

If you cannot solve an issue through the Knowledge Base, contact Armed-One support with clear details so we can help faster. Include what you were trying to do, what happened, which screen you were using and whether the issue involved spray paint, spray caps, wall paint, projects or your subscription. Screenshots are especially useful when something looks wrong. The more context you provide, the easier it is to understand the issue, guide you properly and improve the app for other artists.
